
OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES
The members of Intentional Healing Foundation make it a priority to be involved in their community on many different levels. By actively engaging in local initiatives, IHF strives to provide equitable access to mental health resources and support, helping individuals navigate life's adversities.
Events
RiseUp Adventure Trek: Our interactive booth focused on enhancing interpersonal relationships and provided valuable mental health resources, aligning with our mission to empower communities.
CAB Care Portal Meeting: Our team attended a networking event that brought together over 70 individuals and 25 organizations. This collaboration emphasized resource sharing for vulnerable populations, including the homeless and victims of domestic violence, underscoring our dedication to promoting wellness across all ages.
Care Portal Lunch & Learn: We participated in an informative session on the Care Portal, connecting clients in need with service providers. This event fostered valuable connections among organizations committed to supporting mental health and wellness, reinforcing our values of collaboration and community empowerment.
Building Healthy Communities - Mental Health Summit: Our representatives spoke on children and teen mental health during a panel discussion aimed at raising awareness and encouraging collaboration among mental health organizations. This summit furthered our goal of strengthening community ties around mental health issues.
City’s Funfair: Serving as advocates for mental health and wellness, we shared information about the Intentional Healing Empowerment Center and Foundation. Families engaged in a carnival game designed to promote bonding amongst parents and children, while we distributed essential take-home resources related to our mental health services.
Juneteenth Event (Hosted by Chattanooga Business Elite): We engaged in meaningful networking with community members around mental health and wellness. The event served as an opportunity to distribute a range of mental health resources, including self-care tools, psychoeducational materials, and resources for emotional and trauma processing. Outreach efforts focused on connecting with key community groups such as members of the LGBTQ+ community, single mothers, and individuals new to the Chattanooga area.
Fall Mental Health Skills and Resource Event: We hosted a fun-filled event to support parents, teachers, and kids throughout the school year with resources, interactive activities, and wellness prizes. The event included breakout groups, a soundbath, and local vendors to share additional resources with attendants.
Speaking Engagement on Self-Care with Bloom Creative: We participated in the Bloom Creative Summit designed to hold space and community for black women and non-binary entrepreneurs.
